Leslie Coplin

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Leslie Coplin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist who employs warmth and humor to support clients in a safe, non-judgmental space. Her psychodynamic approach helps illuminate deep rooted thoughts and experiences shaping current behaviors and emotions. Leslie's work is grounded in the belief that real change comes from being genuinely seen and understood. She brings compassion, curiosity, and years of clinical experience to every conversation. Leslie's lifelong passion for communication, strengths-based approach, and lens of cultural humility informs everything she does.

From 2013–2023, Leslie worked at YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services (now Harmony Project) assisting survivors of intimate partner violence and educating health providers, therapists, parents, educators, law enforcement, beauty professionals, and attorneys to recognize, respond and safely refer people experiencing relationship abuse to support services. Her primary prevention work engaged young people to navigate unhealthy relationships and practice skills to foster healthy ones. Leslie also created and delivered content around protective factors through the life cycle including the impact of social media, practical parenting, consent, gender stereotypes, elder abuse, and loneliness.

Prior to her career in mental health Leslie worked in television production booking talent for David Letterman and associate producing for Ricki Lake. She has a BS in Communications from Emerson College, Master of Social Work from Fordham University, and studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Leslie participates in continuing education at Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
